An invitation to attend the technical stage rehearsal of THE GREAT GATSBY by Northern Ballet ... at Sadler's Wells
The LBC is delighted to have received an invitation from Northern Ballet for our members to 'get up close and personal' with their Jazz Age smash hit ballet The Great Gatsby, at a Technical Stage Rehearsal.
We will be sitting alongside Friends of Sadler's Wells in the First Circle. Students of Central School of Ballet will be in the Second Circle.
Great Gatsby Technical Stage Rehearsal
Tuesday 16 May, 2.00pm - 5.00pm*
Sadler's Wells Theatre, Roseberry Avenue, London EC1R 4TN
Technical rehearsals are the point in the rehearsal process where all the different elements of the show come together. You will see the technical staff work with the dancers to put the finishing touches to the lighting, scene changes, entrances and exits, ahead of the Opening Night that evening. As a working ballet rehearsal, there may well be some stopping and starting, but this is all part of the preparation!
The rehearsal runs from 2pm to 5pm and there will also be a short break around halfway through the rehearsal, should anyone need to leave before 5.00pm.
