British born Gareth Haw, Lead Principal Dancer with the English National Ballet, studied for eight years at The Royal Ballet School. Haw joined Semperoper Ballett in 2015 and was quickly relied upon for his exquisite partnering skills and beauty of lines, rising through the ranks before joining the English National Ballet in 2023. Haw was awarded Lead Principal in 2025. Holding a rich classical and neo-classical repertoire, Haw has danced principal roles in most classics, appeared in the works of William Forsythe, Martha Graham, George Balanchine, Pina Bausch and Alexander Ekman to name a few and been created on by the likes of David Dawson in prominent roles in his Romeo and Juliet and The Four Seasons. He tours conquering the world's most prestigious stages including Paris Opera Palais Garnier with Forsythe’s In the Middle Somewhat Elevated and The Royal Albert Hall with Dean’s Swan Lake in-the-round. Offstage, Haw focuses
his efforts on helping to inspire the next generation of dancers and developing the art forms’ future, recently taking on an Honorary Patronship with The Du Boisson Dance Foundation.
