The Sarasota Ballet visits the Royal Opera House in June 2024, with a programme of works by Frederick Ashton, marking the opening of Ashton Worldwide, the Frederick Ashton Foundation’s five year international festival to celebrate the legacy of the choreographer.

The London Ballet Circle and the Frederick Ashton Foundation will jointly host a very special event at the Royal Ballet School.

Sarasota Ballet’s Director Iain Webb and Assistant Director Margaret Barbieri will join ballet historian Jane Pritchard in conversation.

In addition, the evening will start with a screening of Lynne Wake’s film “Frederick Ashton : Links in the Chain”, which illustrates how Ashton’s choreography has been handed down over the generations.   The film features past and present stars of The Royal Ballet.

It promises to be a very special occasion.
