In Conversation with Annabelle Lopez Ochoa (via Zoom)

Belgian-Colombian choreographer Annabelle Lopez Ochoa trained as a dancer at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp. After a 12-year career with several European dance companies, including Djazzex and Scapino Ballet, where she performed as a soloist for seven years, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa decided to focus solely on choreography in 2003.

She has created more than 100 ballets for 84 dance companies worldwide, including Dutch National Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Queensland Ballet, New York City. London Ballet Circle have recently had the privilege to watch her at work with Northern Ballet rehearsing Gentleman Jack with in Leeds and at Sadler's Wells Theatre.
