Royal Ballet School Summer Fair
June 13th 2026
What better way to spend a breezy summer afternoon in June than at the Royal Ballet School PTA Summer Fair at White Lodge in Richmond Park? The sun shone, the bunting fluttered and there were smiles and ice creams all round. In this their centenary year Iain Mackay, Director of the School, opened the doors to visitors with Matthew Ball and Mayara Magri, both Principals at the Royal Ballet, as guests of honour. They then signed autographs and circulated among the visitors including an impromptu visit to the LBC stall.
Once again there were opportunities to tour the School, not normally open to the public, to browse the stalls and to watch the young students in various dance displays. Performances of both the Lower and Upper Schools at the Linbury, at Holland Park and at the matinée performance at the Opera House are a sell-out.
It was an opportunity for the LBC to greet familiar faces and meet new ones. Many thanks to the school’s PTA for all their tremendous hard work in running this popular event, their main fundraiser of the year, and for their support of the London Ballet Circle. We wish them a very happy 100th anniversary!
