The LBC is delighted to once again receive an invitation from Northern Ballet for our members to attend their Technical Stage Rehearsal ahead of their London tour. This year the company bring Massimo Moricone’s Romeo & Juliet to Sadler’s Wells.
We will be sitting alongside Friends of Sadler's Wells in the First Circle. Ballet school students will be in the Second Circle.

DATE: Tuesday 28 May 2024
TIME: 2.00pm - 5.00pm*
VENUE: Sadler's Wells Theatre, Roseberry Avenue, London EC1R 4TN
Technical rehearsals are the point in the rehearsal process where all the different elements of the show come together. You will see the technical staff work with the dancers to put the finishing touches to the lighting, scene changes, entrances and exits, ahead of the Opening Night that evening. As a working ballet rehearsal, there may well be some stopping and starting, but this is all part of the preparation!
The rehearsal runs from 2pm to 5pm and there will be 1 or 2 short breaks, should anyone need to leave before 5.00pm. The show itself has a running time of 2 hours and 30 minutes including two 20 minute intervals
