If we are to continue to offer support to students, we need more income than we can raise through our regular programme of events. Therefore, a regular donation will be much appreciated and put to very good use. Please read the Gift Aid section and if you are able to, please Gift Aid your donation.
Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving as, for every pound you give, a charity such as The London Ballet Circle will currently receive an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue.
This means that a £10 Gift Aid donation is worth £12.50 to us - and it doesn't cost you a thing. It can apply to donations of any amount, large or small, cash, cheque, postal order, direct debit, standing order, debit or credit card or even in a foreign currency. A single Gift Aid declaration can apply to your current and all future donations.
On top of this, individuals paying tax at the 40% rate can reclaim as much as £25 for themselves from the taxman for every £100 donated to charity, by including details of their Gift Aid donations on their Self Assessment form. Individuals paying tax at the new 50% rate can claim £37.50. Next time you give a donation look out for the Gift Aid section within the form or appeal, fill in the declaration and submit it or send it off.
On several occasions members have asked how to proceed should they wish to leave a legacy to The London Ballet Circle. We are very grateful for the generosity that prompts these enquiries.
